They helped me a lot. They gave me housing, they gave me phones when I needed them.

The Problem

Only 55% of formerly incarcerated individuals report any earnings during the first calendar year out of prison. With little to no money, obtaining proper medical resources and basic necessities can be painstakingly hard. Additionally, the social stigma formerly incarcerated individuals face is extreme and makes finding stable employment and housing an incredible difficulty. These realities paint a daunting picture for those reentering society. Our goal is to ease the process for returning citizens.

Reentry Reimagined is a 501c(3) that provides holistic reentry support for justice impacted persons. This organization offers medical navigation of health-related resources, humanizes individuals by providing personal care products, and researches and analyzes evidence-based practices and participant outcomes in reentry to ensure greater quality of life, foster public safety, and break down service silos.

The majority of people coming out of prison have a chronic health condition.

Analysis of Reentry Outcomes

Many Corrections agencies and reentry programs focus on the sole metric of recidivism. However, this means that they measure the rate of failure rather than the rate of success. We focus on metrics related to actual success reintegration and positive outcomes for the individual.

Evidence based Practlces in Reentry and Corrections

Our criminologist, sociologist, and psychologist actively research and identify evidence based practices within reentry and Corrections so that your organization does not have to. This ensures maximum efficacy so that your organization does not waste resources and time on practices proven not to work. Similarly, following evidenced based practice improves reentry outcomes and greater quality of life.
